About the District

Welcome to the West Corners Fire District Web Site. The intent of this site is to provide an easily accessible information medium for West Corners residents. The Fire District is represented by a Board of Fire Commissioners whose job is to represent the residents of West Corners in protecting them from fire and other emergencies and to do so in a cost effective method.

The Board consists of 5 elected Commissioners. While we volunteer our services to be on the Board, there are 2 part time employees, the District Secretary and Treasurer. We work diligently to assure the firefighters who volunteer their time have state of the art personal protective equipment, apparatus, and facilities to maintain their training and assure a quick response when an emergency occurs.

The Commissioner's meet the second Wednesday for a work session and our regular meeting is the third Wednesday of each month. Both meetings start at 7pm at Station 1 on Day Hollow Road.
